“Punch him in the face”

So I went to a Meshuggah show last night and it was totally awesome.  At the beginning of their set, everyone was pushing forward and mosh pits were forming, so obviously people start getting pushed into one another.  Apparently, I was being pushed into some girl a little too much and she flips out and tells me to stop pushing her.  To summarize the “discussion”, I told her that I actually was not intentionally pushing her, but she disagreed.  She then turns to her boyfriend (who was failing to protect her from all the pushing) and tells him to punch me in the face.

Needless to say, I stabbed them both and enjoyed the rest of the show.

PS.  I didn’t stab anyone.

    Heh… sounds like some spoiled lil girl has never been to a real show before.

    And probably doesn't even know who Meshuggah is lol.

    Stabbing would've been appropriate. :D

    you should've stabbed everyone in a 10 ft radius … Meshuggah would love you …

      Wait, what? So you live in the NYC area AND listen to Meshuggah AND went to the show? Wow, what are the odds. I was way over on the left side underneath the camera rig. Right by some dude in a red shirt that was doing vicious headbanging =P

      Yea, 'I' would have been sweet. But that song is just so dang long. I'm really glad they played Stengah, I love that song.

    you didnt stab them? Then im massively disappointed. If they want to see/hear the gig, they should stand at the back. if they want to dance/mosh/skank, then they go to the front. Id have killed them (or picked them up and crowdsurfed them out of my way).

    Similar thing happened to me when they played UNSW Roundhouse in October last year. Amazing show though. Wrecked my neck on Stengah also.

    I learned a valuable lesson at that show;

    Mosh Pit + Waist Length Hair + Pushing and Shoving = PAIN BEYOND HELLISH TORTURE

    A few people handed me clumps of my hair after the show.

    GAH stupid people at concerts! The best part is when people, both guys and girls, who are way taller and/or bigger than me (I'm only 5'1") tell ME to stop pushing THEM.

    Ha, I love it when kids get to the front row at shows, then flip out when you so much as touch them. I also hate it when dumb chicks sit there and text on their cellphones while chewing gum like cows….DURING THE SET. It's very annoying.

    People are stupid.

    reminds me of the time i punched my tall friend in the face while moshing, i didn't find out til a month later when he casually mentioned it in conversation. LOL.

    I haven't been in a mosh pit for a while; partly because the last time some guy push/punched me in the face and I punched him right back. Unfortunatly (well actually it was kinda cool) I broke his nose/knocked him out/he may have gotten a concussion too, he left in an abulence and I got dragged out by two big security guards.
