I agree … that IS hilarious! Only you really would have a real air guitar Drew =)
Oh how time flies! Happy Two-Year Anniversary LHT!
I got a saxophone for Christmas! Once we learn our respective instruments, we should start a rock and roll band.
Oh, wow! My pal and I are building a pocket-sized theremin! Do you have any details about yours? Did someone make it for you? It really emanates supercool. Thereminates supercool.
Thereminates. That word has so much win.
That is awesomeness in box-with-antenna-thingy form. Drew rocks, even in the getting Christmas presents department.
Theremins have got to be among the coolest instruments ever, and I have to admit you play it awesomely
So basically, a theremin ensures that in the event of an alien invasion you're set for theme music? I'd never heard of it before, I feel musically enlightened now.
Also kudos for two years of left-handed awesomeness and some forgivable-on-account-of-awesome right-handed interruptions.
Alas, it is no longer the 70s! If you find it entertaining, search for Gnarls Barkley+theremin on Youtube. You'll be amazed.
Thanks! Very cool!
I've never liked bananas or any sweet-fruit that aren't tart. Gimme tart! I don't like greasy fruit either.
The theremin is the best instrument ever. You can play it if you can play a slide whistle
Awesome!! I want a theremin so badly! I think my wife would murder me though.
And congrats on two years/400 strips! I know I've only been reading for a handful of months, but i've loved every single strip.
they should've given you a left handed one
How many people can go, "No! Really!! That guy on the internet video only filmed from the torso down is /really, really/ me! I can prove it!" And then really prove it?
Just you Drew, because of your mother. Thank god for Penguin Calls. (Hilarious.)
hehe, her celebrity still surprises me.
your theremin talent has melted my heart.
for the record, i've been looking at this comic since the very first time the link appeared on spinnerdisc. =D
Comic 403 is awesome. I can totally relate.
That is awesome. I have wanted a theremin ever since Thinkin' Lincoln posted a link to a video of a cat playing one.
And I also think it's neat that your second anniversary and your 400th strip happened so close together. I guess that's what happens when you post approximately 200 strips a year, but it's still cool. (I've figured out that my comic's 600th strip will fall on this year's winter solstice, but that's not nearly as cool.)
Congrats and keep up the good work (both comic-posting and theremin-playing)!
Oh my god, this is amazing. I've always wanted a theremin, and now because of you, I will build one.
P.S. If I could make a website my best friend, it would be lefthandedtoons.
iIK3D9 hi! its a nice site!
Drew, you are cool in so many ways.
WHOAH.
If you like the theremin so much, get yourself some music by "Man… Or Astro Man?" and listen to the bass player manipulate his with the neck of his bass.
Nothing against you, but everyone who said you were good at playing it is kind of depressingly over eager for your acceptance. Maybe you should have a suicide competition and weed out the undesirables.
