Synth-lampcore. I would totally listen to that. That is, when I'm not listening to my usual death jazz.

    • SoC says:

Death jazz? If you're referring to death metal then you're awesomer than I thought.

      • Decanus says:

I haven't listened to any of that since yesterday, I'll get some out now. I'll settle for Aghora and Deadsoul Tribe for now :)

I find grindcore and goregrind to be the only respectable cores, even then they're a bit old now.

        *Passe is so yesterday's word*

  2. Sonia says:

    indie-monkey-core.

    i'd listen to it.

    even indie-core.

    or ska-apple.

    Skapple.

  3. JMlover says:

    Nu Fartpop

Now that can REALLY be a genre. Lol.

  4. rc5 says:

    (alternative) post-kitty-rock-revival

You know, kitty-rock… where the vocals are replaced with pre-recorded cat sounds.

    I'd listen to it.

  5. Orange Juice says:

I listen to alot of Nu Metal, so I'm going to have to say, Apple-Core

    It's kind of fruity.

  10. Russell says:

I don't know what to call this genre (www.protomen.com), but it's a band that performs odes to mega-man (and yes some of the music does sound very 8-bit). And their site has animated-flash goodness, so that should make Drew happy.

    • Amanda says:

That's probably considered Nerdcore, not sure though.

That's real- I didn't make it up! XD

    <a>

When death metal and techno collide, dethchno! (with added ch for proper inflection!)

tribal punk, progressive warehouse indie-hop, and undersytnth battletron movie scores have been rising steadily as well. I only wonder what other transmustations could occure when so called 'freeform' artists adopt internet branding techniques.

Nike-core synthpop is just a few feet away!

    Love from afar,

    Lord Bertrum of Wendshire, forsooth

  22. Annie Elmley says:

I have invented lasercore and icecore.

Lasercore music is like most pop music (ie. T. Rex songs) featuring an array of sampled sound effects from various sci-fi movies. Classical laser core samples sounds from old Flash Gordon serials.

Icecore is just music about frozen planets

  33. Doodle says:
