Sister Story
December 24, 2008
When we were little, my sister and I loved Santa so much we'd leave him cookies. One time, she left him some coins too.
The next morning, the coins were still there. "Santa" left a note saying it was very sweet of her, but he couldn't take her money.
She was so sad! She couldn't fathom why Santa wouldn't want her thoughtful gift. Of course, now that we're adults, we understand why.
Because the USD-NPD exchange rate is so poor, where as cookies are tax deductible.
Santa: Guy's gotta set a fiscally advantageous precedent!
At least he didn't wuss out completely that year.
